A Skyscraper-Sized Rubber Duck Is Swimming Into Texas This July

Obligatory everything-is-bigger-in-Texas joke.

In an effort to spread the bright, yellow message of kindness, the Kindness Duck Project is floating a skyscraper-sized rubber duck into Texas this July.

Organized by the Kindness Duck Project, a local foundation, the titanic-sized bird has found itself on a world tour visiting the likes of Toronto, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong. On July 23 to July 25, the Godzilla of ducks will be displayed in along the Trinity River in Fort Worth.

The display will coincide with a weekend-full of parties – all in an effort to plant, grow, and share kindness, that are, the three pillars of the organization’s mission.

The festivities are set to include food trucks, drinks, games, as well as local vendors all three days at 2278 River Dr.

Tickets are free with the options for parking and other bonuses ranging from $25 – $150. The former priced ticket grants entry as well as parking access, while the VIP package tickets includes entry for one adult and two minors, entry to Fort Brewery VIP Tent with the closest view of the 6-story-high duck, t-shirts, and other goodies.
