Just a few days left to enjoy the magic of the holidays!
Being here in Texas, in the southeast none the less, igloos are hard to come by. But as we know, ’tis the season of miracles. And wouldn’t you know it, you can find only igloos here in Houston, but a whole festive igloo market!
Railway Heights is a market concept from Company of Nomads, the same minds behind the Conservatory and Bravery Chef Hall. The new market, however, isn’t just a run-in-the-mill food hall. Visitors can also find a wine bar, natural grocery market, beer garden, and a variety of local vendors.
And now for their Journey to the North Pole event, Railway Heights is featuring a festive igloo market filled with interactive displays and plenty of opportunities to give back!
From now until January 31, visitors can peruse this festive market, wherein each is occupied by a local vendor giving you the opportunity to do your holiday shopping and support local businesses! Vendors include jewelers, health and beauty products, holiday knick knacks, ceramics, and more!
Additionally, visitors can participate in a community-wide Secret Santa by bringing in a wrapped gift by December 22 in exchange for a voucher in which to present on that same day. Be sure to be there from 7:30 – 8:30 pm to catch the Viva Vocé Victorian Carolers!
On December 24, the market will be holding a special story time hour from 2 – 4 pm with her personal assistant, Buddy The Elf.
On New Year’s Eve, the market is hosting a World’s Fair-themed celebration with live music, fireworks, and a plenty of other festivities until 2 in the morning!
Railway Heights is open from 11 am – 10 pm on Saturday and 11 am – 9 pm on Sunday.
