Welcome to Pumpkinland, Texas.
This September, Pumpkin Nights will inundate farms in Austin and Arlington with an un-gourdly amount of fall festivity for their autumn-exclusive Pumpkin Nights event running all season long. [Featured image: @danimackenna]
Not your average pumpkin patch, Pumpkin Nights at Pioneer Farms and in Howell Farms in Arlington are fantastically imaginative and artistically driven experiences that construct enchanting sights, attractions, and monuments using over 7,500 hand-carved pumpkins.
Like Disneyland, but everything is Halloween and Mickey Mouse is replaced by Jack Skellington, Pumpkin Nights invites guests to stop in for a spell and experience the grandeur of the gourd.
Now open, you can take a stroll through their bewitching half-mile-long Halloween walking path, explore the Forbidden City, Neon Reef, Maravilla Lane, and Pirate’s Cove, as well as marvel at their magical installations, including 10-foot tall Jack-O-Lanterns, the world’s largest pumpkin guitar, a life-sized pumpkin pirate ship, and a flying 40-foot handmade pumpkin dragon.
Additionally, visitors can have a more hands-on autumn experience at The Village in Pioneer Farms and Howell Farms, that which is alive with food, games, and spectacular entertainment!
Pumpkin Nights features a rotating selection of food trucks on the grounds depending on the night. Stay tuned for further details.
