As far as date nights go, we’ve all done the classic dinner and a movie – and its later Netflix-and-chill iteration for that matter – but what you haven’t experienced before is Ostora.
Taking place at the sultry new Ivy House bar in Houston on the last Wednesday of each month, Ostora is a unique live performance that combines traditional circus arts with elements of fantasy, dancing, burlesque, and music, for a whirlwind of an emotional experience.
The recently unveiled Ivy House is situated at 2811 Washington Ave and presents a captivating new atmosphere in Houston. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in a delightful blend of abundant foliage, atmospheric illumination, and exquisite chandeliers. With sophisticated lounge seating and cozy corners, this cocktail garden provides an enchanting setting to relish a memorable evening.
It’s here that visitors will be able to experience the Ostora performance. Presently, the Ivy House is staging Ostora’s The Fate of the White Snake show, which is based on “The White Snake”, a 16th century Chinese legend.
“Experience the captivating tale of The White Snake, a 16th-century Chinese legend at the unique Ostora Houston. This amazing two-hour show will mesmerize audiences with breathtaking stunts, stunning visuals, and an emotional journey.”
As for the dinner aspect, appetizer plates will be available at Ivy House. To enhance the experience, diners can also choose from a tantalizing assortment of cocktails and elixers. Food and drinks are not included in the ticket price and are to be purchased at the venue.
Ostora takes place at Ivy House on the last Wednesday of every month. The event is 21+. Tickets are now on sale starting at $35 for standing room. VIP tickets are also available for groups from 6 – 8 that grant access to the “Captain’s Quarters” with a complimentary bottle of champagne.
The ivy House is located at 2811 Washington Avenue, Houston, 77007.
