As the theatre so appropriately writes on its website, “It won’t be long…. the extended intermission will be coming to an end and Miller Outdoor Theatre will once again be home to great free performances!”
The theatre aims to safely return to its live in coordination with its Two-Step Back To Miller campaign. Two-Step highlights the theatre’s safety protocols upon its return to live performances.
“We have made some pandemic related changes…all designed with safety in mind and in full compliance with City of Houston guidelines and rules. We sincerely appreciate your understanding, cooperation and patience as we navigate re-opening together.”
All performances at the theatre will continue to be free to the public. However, visitors much are required to reserve their tickets beforehand for the covered seating area. Online tickets will be available a week prior to the scheduled performance with a limit of 4 per buyer and will be available until an hour and a half before the performance. Masks will be required in attendance except when eating or drinking. Temperature checks will also be deployed at the entrance of the covered area.
Tickets aren’t required for the hill, which will be sectioned off into social distancing pods.
Scheduled performances include the Houston Ballet, Houston Grand Opera, and the Houston Metropolitan Dance Center. You can see the full list here!
