Louisiana might be the Mardi Gras capital of the U.S., but Texas holds its own with the massive annual celebration in Galveston. As the island prepares for its two-weekend takeover this February, organizers have officially dropped the 2026 entertainment lineup, nearly 2X the size of previous years!
Ranked as the third-largest Mardi Gras celebration in the U.S., the festival is set to run from February 6 through February 13. Organizers expect more than 350,000 revelers to flood the streets for the non-stop carnival atmosphere.
“With more than 3 million beads, over 20 parades, iconic balcony parties, and a stacked concert lineup, this year promises one of the most diverse and exciting music slates in the event‘s history,” said Mike Dean, Mardi Gras! Galveston organizer in a press statement.

The Mardi Gras Galveston concerts will kick off on February 6 with a special performance by country star Logan Ryan at The Strand.
Other headliners at the 2026 Mardi Gras Galveston include Texas Country/Americana artist, Wade Bowen on February 7, genre-bending icons, Gym Class Heroes, on February 13 and Houston rap legend, Lil’ Keke, on February 14.
Additionally, visitors can expect an eclectic mix of local and regional artists and performances throughout the festival including DJ performances by Four Color Zack on February 7 and Angie Vee on February 13 – both a part of the festival’s Electric Mardi Gras series.

In other Mardi Gras news, the 2026 Galveston festival will also feature the debut Street Circus – an electrifying experience that encompasses dazzling acrobatics, fire performers, LED light shows, clowning, sword shows, and much more. The Mardi Gras! Galveston Street Circus will take place on Fridays and Saturdays at The Strand stage over the course of the festival.
Festival organizers plan to release more information regarding Mardi Gras! Galveston including its full entertainment lineup and featured acts as the festival nears – so stay tuned!
