Heads will roll.
Billed as “the largest indoor/outdoor space of its kind in the city”, Sekai Night and Day is slated to elevate East Downtown’s nightlife with top notch DJs, dancing, lounging, and private events just in time for the frightful festivities of Halloween weekend.
The cutting-edge new luxury club is a project from Houston-based group, Sekai Hospitality, who also plan to open a sister club dubbed WYLD CHLD in Washington Corridor this November. Sekai Night and Day will be housed in a reimagined former warehouse at 1505 Saint Emanuel Street, featuring 26,000 square feet of festival-like atmosphere fitted with advanced and immersive technologies.
In order to create this next-level ambiance, Sekai has partnered with high-end audio wizarding company, Audiotek, whose clients include OMNIA Dayclub in Bali, Pacha Ibiza, and Wet Republic, Hakkasan, and OMNIA in Las Vegas.
Patrons can experience the robust audio and visual technologies inside Sekai’s 10,000-square-foot main room, lifted with 20-foot ceilings, accented with “a galactic tapestry of projected, twinkling stars, creating a shimmering backdrop,” at the foot of a massive 200-square-foot DJ booth.
Sekai also promises a variety of VIP offerings, including 27 VIP tables in their stadium lounge seating area, as well as other coveted vantage points of the DJ, dance floor, and bar.
In addition, Sekai will also feature a 1,000-square-foot, resort-style pool. Plated in dramatic, checkerboard tile, the pool will be framed with 10,000 square feet of decking, spanning over two stories of cabanas, daybeds, tables, a 30-foot patio bar, and private open-air Atrium Lounge nested above the pool and DJ booth for large groups.
In case you forgot your bathing suit, Sekai will also feature a vending machine wherein guests can cop club-branded swimwear.
The club will also offer a full-service kitchen.
Sekai Night and Day opens up in EaDo on Friday, October 29, with a performance from EDM titans, Galantis. Their hours run from 10 pm to 2 am on Friday and Saturday nights.
