Feast your eyes on Memorial Park’s spectacular light display.
Said it once, and we’ll say it again: the holiday season can’t have too many light spectacles. Scrooges be damned. If you’re like us and have a little elf in your spirit, stroll onward through Memorial Park’s merry display in its Eastern Glades.
It’s clear Houston got the holiday memo this year. With it’s immersive pop-up winter wonderlands, cheer-heavy cocktail havens, holly jolly attire, and, of course, immersive lighting spectacles.
The latest on the latter list is the Eastern Glades display at Memorial Park:
“It’s merry and bright in Memorial Park,” the Memorial Park Conservancy wrote in an Instagram post. “Stop by for a festive evening and enjoy Holiday Lights in Clay Family Eastern Glades presented by @greenmtnenergy!”
From now until January 10 2021, 4 pm – 11 pm, Houstonians can saunter through an enchanting holiday haven brimming with tinsel, ornaments, and millions of twinkly lights. On weekends, the park will have food trucks on the premises to fuel the wistful endeavor.
Note: the park has asked visitors not to feed the local wildlife. Evidently the muscovy ducks roaming the premises are part of an outside invasive species that threatens the local flora and fauna.
