Labor Day Weekend is here, Houston. If you’re hoping to make the most out of the three-day weekend, check out these epic fireworks displays that Houston has in store.
The Woodlands: Labor Day Festival
Head up to Waterway Square this weekend for The Woodlands: Labor Day Festival. The free, community festival will feature a classic program of pie-eating, face painting, and balloon artists.
Additionally, visitors can enjoy live music by Shake Down Band HTX. Sunday night, the festival will conclude with a festive fireworks finale around 8:55 pm.
Admission to the festival is completely free. Paid parking is available at the 24 Waterway Parking Garage, Waterway Square Parking Garage, and lot at Waterway Ave. & Timberloch Place.
Sugar Land Space Cowboys: Double Fireworks Weekend
The minor league baseball team Space Cowboys are doubling down this holiday weekend with two post-game fireworks shows following their home stand vs. Reno Aces on Friday and Sunday night. For parents, Sunday’s game will also feature a Paw Patrol theme.
Kemah Boardwalk: End of Summer Celebration
Spend this Sunday at the Kemah Boardwalk. In addition to its many amusement rides, eateries, and entertainment, the boardwalk will host live music in the plaza, including performances by the Moonlight Trio from 1 pm to 5 pm and The Outsiders from 6 pm to 10 pm. At 9:30, the boardwalk will light up the night with a free fireworks show.
In honor of Labor Day Weekend, Kemah is offering a special adventure pass. Priced at $49.99, the pass features unlimited access to the Kemah Boardwalk, Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, and Downtown Aquarium. Furthermore, the passes include one free zip line ticket at the boardwalk, a free 5D theater experience at Pleasure Pier, and a free stingray reef fish food at the aquarium.
For the ultimate experience, visitors can enjoy the Boardwalk Beast Fireworks Cruise priced at $40. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
