While many of the Pride festivities of the past two years were postponed, reimagined, and/or cancelled outright due to circumstances, June 2022 in Houston is looking like all the colors will be coming out for the 44th annual Houston LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration.
Regularly attracting crowds in the hundreds of thousands, the City of Houston, The City of Houston annually attracts crowds in the hundreds of thousands for a vibrant celebration, otherwise known as the Houston Pride Celebration!
“The news you have all been waiting for… 2022 Houston LGBT+ Pride Celebration returns to Downtown Houston on Saturday, June 24th,” Pride Houston wrote in an Instagram post. “Get your tickets. Register your organization. Make your plans… because it’s celebration season again.”
The Pride festivities will kick off at 1 pm at Houston City Hall on Friday, June 24, and will carry on until June 25th for the parade scheduled from 7 pm to 9:30 pm.
While the parade is the premier Pride event of the season, the celebration regularly coincides with a vibrant variety of LGBTQ+ events. Details are still sparse at the moment, so stay tuned! The celebration is open to the pubic. Interested businesses and/or organizations can now register through the website, and have until May 25th to do so.
