Family-owned Texas winery, Messina Hof, has debuted its newest winery in Richmond.

Planted on over 1,300 acres of Texas countryside, Messina Hof Harvest Green Winery & Kitchen is Houston sommeliers’ newest destination.
“Situated in the southwest Houston suburb of Richmond, TX, Harvest Green is a master-planned community par excellence,” the winery writes on its website. “Featuring a working neighborhood farm, cooperative gardening, resort-level amenities, and fantastic schools, it’s one of the fastest-growing communities in the state.”
As stated, Harvest Garden features a full kitchen with a lunch, dinner, and dessert menu. With vegetarian and gluten-free options, the Italian-inspired menu crafted by Chef Corey Bowers features an assortment of shareables, salads, sandwiches, burgers, bowls, and Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas.
It’s spacious tasting room is beset by an 80-foot wine bar, behind which are 24 taps and over 70 Texas-made wines. For a more intimate experience, two more private tasting rooms are available at the winery as is a sprawling covered patio.
The winery is currently in a soft-opening phase with limited hours: 4 – 9 pm Monday and Tuesday, 11 am – 9 pm Wednesday and Thursday, 11 am – 10 pm on Friday, and from 10 am – 10 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Come late February, Harvest Green will proceed to regular hours.
