Get your lion’s share of zoo life.
While the Houston Zoo has temporarily closed its doors in the wake of the outbreak, the zoo is bringing their animals to your living room. Tune into their Facebook Live to catch up with the zoo residents! [Featured image: @houstonzoo]
The Houston Zoo is the second-most visited zoo in the US and is home to over 6,000 animals. Day-to-day, the zoo offers inspiring and educational experiences for visiting guests.
Because the zoo is presently unable to deliver these experiences in person, they are doing the next best thing with their animal webcams.
Every day at 11 a.m., you can tune in to their Facebook Live stream and watch the rhinos, elephants, leopards, and apes monkey around from the comfort of your home.
The videos feature some of the zookeepers who guide the animals during their activities. Keep your curiosity in-tact by submitting questions through their feed!
This morning the feed is broadcasting an elephant bath! Tune in from your couch (or the tub) and get back in touch with nature!
