Houston Zoo Opens New Flamingo Terrace Beer Garden

You gotta flaminGO to this beer garden!

Now that crisp autumn air is gradually, periodically, making its entrance into Houston, the urge to unwind al fresco is all the more great. Just in time for sweater weather, the Houston Zoo has opened their brand new Flamingo Terrace beer garden! [Featured image: @houstonzoo]

“Stop by our BRAND-NEW beer garden, Flamingo Terrace, to get a seasonal @saintarnoldbrewing beer, bar bites, and more,” the zoo wrote in a post on Instagram. “It’s located across from the Reflection Pool and leads right in to our flamingo exhibit.”

There isn’t much in the way of details at the moment, save for the fact that it will be stocked with seasonal beers from Houston’s ultimate beer garden, Saint Arnold Brewing Company, including their Art Car IPA, Lawnmower, and Oktoberfest.

In other zoo news, the beloved The Houston Zoo Boo is set to return this October. The annual eerie event is scheduled to return this year with a month of spooky, but not too spooky, fall festivities for the whole family. Details are still limited at this time, but you can stay updated via its website.
