Neighborhood Guide: Houston Restaurant Week Has Returned To The City

Are there any Houston restaurants that you’ve been meaning to try, but never got around to making a reservation? Now’s your chance. From now until September 5, Houston Restaurant Week is gracing the city with special deals for brunch, lunch, and dinner for restaurants from The Woodlands to Galveston.

Charity

Houston Restaurant Week is an annual charity event that which benefits not only the participating patrons of the local restaurants, as well as the local economy, but the Houston Restaurants Week Food Bank. How it works is this:

• For every $25 brunch/ lunch meal, the restaurant will donate $2 (or 6 meals) to the Houston Restaurants Week Food Bank
• For every $39 (min. three-course) dinner, the restaurant will donate $4 (or 12 meals) to the Houston Restaurants Week Food Bank
• For every $55 (min. three-course) dinner, the restaurant will donate $6 (or 18 meals) to the Houston Restaurants Week Food Bank

The Houston Restaurant Week Food Bank then distributes food to local food banks in Montgomery County and Galveston County, which then provide meals to hunger relief organizations.

As stated, patrons will have the opportunity to score special pricing for brunch, lunch, and dinners at the city’s finest restaurants.
