Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is bringing back its #FlashbackFriday promotion this Friday, October 2, at all six Houston-area locations — and the price tag makes it worth an early arrival. The first 200 dine-in guests at each location will receive a card redeemable for one of two lunch dishes at just 79 cents, a figure that nods to 1979, the year Perry’s opened as a family-owned butcher shop in Houston.

Two dishes are on the table: the Famous Pork Chop Friday Lunch (Lunch Cut), served with whipped potatoes, homemade applesauce, and freshly baked bread; or the Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich, plated with French fries and horseradish cream — a newer Friday lunch addition that’s already built a following. Each location will have 100 cards for each dish, distributed first-come, first-served while quantities last.
The fine print is worth knowing before you head out. Guests must be 21 or older to participate. No reservations are accepted for the promotion, and you cannot hold a spot in line for someone who isn’t physically present. Cards must be redeemed on October 2 before 12 p.m. — so arriving close to the 10:30 a.m. opening is the safest move.
The promotion runs at Baybrook, Champions, Katy, Memorial City, Sugar Land, and The Woodlands. Perry & Sons Market & Grille in Friendswood is not included, as that location does not offer a regular Friday lunch service.

For anyone who misses the 79-cent window, both dishes remain available through Perry’s standard Friday lunch service, which runs from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. — the only day of the week the steakhouse opens for lunch. Full menus and reservation options are available at the Perry’s Steakhouse website.
