Ahead of the return of the 2025/2026 NFL season, USA Today published a pair of lists compiled by its panel of experts along with its readers ranking the best NFL stadiums in the country based on game-day experience and stadium food – both of which, celebrating NRG Stadium in Houston.

NRG Stadium ranked sixth on USA Today‘s list of the 10 best NFL stadiums.The article highlights the Houston venue’s sightlines, impressive features, gourmet food, and versatility – hosting football, the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, as well as high-profile concerts. Dallas’ AT&T Stadium also featured on the list, coming in just above Houston at No. 5.
NRG Stadium, however, one-upped AT&T Stadium on USA Today‘s other list. The publication ranked NRG Stadium as No. 3 on its list of the NFL stadiums with the best food the in U.S. Here, the publication celebrates NRG for its collaboration with local chefs, regularly updated menus, drink and dynamic culinary options. Restaurant highlights in the article include: Trill Burger, Truth BBQ, El Tiempo, Goode Co., Voodoo Doughnuts, and Hugo’s.

The NFL stadium that features the best game-day experience in the country, according to USA Today, is Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. For food, the publication ranked Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia as the best.
