Home to thousands of sea creatures, exotic animals, reptiles, and more, the Houston Interactive Aquarium & Animal Preserve in Humble in a true hidden gem with much to see, do, and love.
Located at 5440 N. Sam Houston Pkwy, the Houston Interactive Aquarium & Animal Preserve is a one-of-a-kind, hands-on preserve and wildlife center. As a part of its approach – promoting education through engaging experience – visitors can not only get up close to all corners of the animal kingdom, but also feed, pet, and pose with wildlife native to land, sea, and sky!
Among the attractions at the wildlife center include, but are not limited to:
- stingray and shark tank
- pirate tank
- big snake enclosure
- asian small-clawed otters
- black-ad-white ruffed lemurs
- lovebird aviary
- kangaroos
- bearded dragons
For the full experience, the preserve also gives visitors the chance to dive with sharks, stingrays, and tropical fish at their Majestic Underwater World attraction. Ticket prices vary depending on the experience, be it snorkeling or scuba diving.
Additionally, visitors can (with the additional purchase of credits) feed and interact with lemurs, caiman, pythons, kangaroon, and sloths, take photos with toucans, and pet jellyfish.
Otherwise located on the grounds are an arcade, bounce house, 3D VR experience, Mermaids and Friends area, and Snack Shack. The Houston Interactive Aquarium & Animal Preserve also provides an apt venue for groups and birthdays.
Tickets to the aquarium and animal preserve are priced at $29.95 for those aged 12 and over; $24.95 for seniors, military, and young ones aged between 3 – 11 years old. No purchase necessary for toddlers 2 and under.
Annual Adventure Passes are also available for purchase at $69.95 per person.
