There’s a new pad into town. Blast in the past this season at Behind Closed Doors, a retro new hangout in Houston.
Located at 310 Main St, Behind Closed Doors is an elevated new cocktail concept that comprises of multiple bars, including secret rooms, DJs, and all the vibes.
Inside this groovy den amid the far out light installations are three separate bars, each of which with its own designated design. Among these rooms visitors will find two DJs, one up front, and the other in the Red Room upstairs which starts at 10 pm.
At all three bars, patrons will be able to find handcrafted cocktails and mocktails – including Delta-9 options.
As the name suggests, there’s a lot to be discovered at Behind Closed Doors. In addition to the three bars, the cocktail concept features a speakeasy known as the Gold Room, as well as another mysterious room.
As for how to access these secret sanctuaries, play around with the jukebox to unlock a couple of pointers. If to no avail, perhaps you can politely ask one of the bartenders who’ll point you in the right direction.
Behind Closed Doors is located on 310 Main St. and is open daily. From Sunday to Thursday, doors are open from 4 pm to midnight; and from 4 pm to 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
In other bar news, Miracle has returned to Houston with an abundance of festive cheer.
For the uninitiated, Miracle is an over-the-top Christmas takeover of neighborhood bars during the yuletide season. Lit with enough lights to be seen from space, cozy hot and cold seasonal libations, and an unparalleled holiday decor enough to make the Grinch’s heart grow three times over, Miracle is a must for all with an affinity for elf culture.
