We might be guilty of overusing the phrase “The Topgolf of…” to refer to any of-course sports entertainment facility: see our past articles on Homerun Dugout and TOCA Social in Dallas. That said, permit us just this once more. Go for a round at The Topgolf of skeet-shooting at The Porch Venue, a glow-in-the-dark skeet-shooting venue that offers axe-throwing, mocktails, bonfires, and a 3,000-foot entertainment deck.
The Porch Venue is a one-of-a-kind entertainment venue in Waxahachie, Texas. Located in a serene, hill country setting just minutes outside of Dallas/Fort Worth, The Porch Venue features the only glow-in-the-dark skeet shooting in the DFW area, axe-throwing, and idyllic setting for hanging with friends, birthday celebrations, group outings, and more.

For skeet shooting, the venue offers a variety of packages. RESERVATION REQUIRED. For those without the proper equipment, the venue provides everything needed for the experience, including: clays, shooters, shells, and ear and eye protection. Safety captains are also on-site for participants.
Skeet-only experiences are available at the price of $200. However, the inclusive package, priced at $150, gives participants access to unlimited axe-throwing and outdoor games as well as cosmic skeet-shooting.
All participants must be 18 or over. No alcohol, vapes, or tobacco products are permitted on deck. Closed-toed shoes must be worn on the axe-throwing course.

The Porch Venue is located at 1045 Tumbleweed Rd in Waxahachie. It is open from 8 – 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations are required.
