Officials at ERCOT will not extend its weather watch, ending it at midnight tonight.
Amid the recent arctic blast, ERCOT had issued a series of Conservation Appeals to residents in southeast and south central Texas. The Weather Channel also issued a Hard Freeze Warning and Wind Chill Advisory.
Early Wednesday morning, ERCOT officials published a post on Twitter/X notifying that their weather warning would end tonight midnight.

The announcement comes amid Houston temperatures rising into the high 40s. On Thursday, temperatures are expected to rise up to the high 60s but might drop as low as the high 20s on Saturday.
