Whether you’re seeking to revel in the nostalgia of your youth, looking for things to do with kids in Houston, spend a day in Katy, or just really really want a Pokemon plushie: you can accomplish all feats at Claw & Fun.
The second of its kind in Houston, Claw & Fun is an expansive new claw machine arcade in Katy. The colorful new all-ages venue features a wide variety of claw machines packed with all sorts of prizes.
Here, contestants can test their hand-eye coordination skills to win a rotating selection of prizes, including: Pokemon plushes in varying sizes, trendy keychains and ID tags, items from the Sanrio collection, Squishmallow collection, and other brandname toys.
In addition to claw machines, Claw & Fun also features a variety of Gashapon machines. What are Gashapon machines, you ask? Gashapon is a combination of Japanese words “gasha” – the sound of a turning crank and “pon” – the sound of a toy dropping. Gashapon machines are also referred to as “capsule toy machines“. Here, contestants spin a crank, after depositing a coin, for the chance to win a surprise toy.
Claw & Fun is now open at 1223 Grand West Blvd B106 in Katy. The venue is celebrating their Grand Opening this Memorial Day Weekend in Houston.
In celebration of its Grand Opening, the venue is offering a raffle for entries purchased at $100 for exclusive prizes including autographed baseballs by Jeff Bagwell and Craig Biggio. Raffle contestants will receive a free membership, 120 tokens, and a plushie.
“Our arcade in Katy, TX provides a fun space for the whole family to connect and engage in some friendly competition. Whether you have toddlers or teenagers, there’s something for everyone.” the venue’s website reads.
