POST Houston is geared to launch its Cinco de Mayo celebrations early with a rooftop party on the Skylawn. The opening event features live Latin music alongside a menu of margaritas, palomas, and ranch waters. Beverage brands including Aquasol, Herradura, Mijenta, and Estrella Jalisco will also be on-site offering drink samples.
Following the rooftop kickoff, the festivities move to El Tiempo. The restaurant features ongoing food and drink specials leading up to the holiday, anchored by a live mariachi performance to keep the momentum going.

This Cinco de Mayo, Candente will be hosting all-day celebrations at both of its locations. With on-site tequila tastings, a live DJ, and live mariachi bands on-site, the Michelin-recognized restaurant will be offering $10 frozen and rocks margaritas and $10 queso.

This Sunday, J-Bar-M Barbecue is hosting a special pre-Cinco de Mayo celebration. Kicking off at 11 am, the event will be headlined by a live-fire Carne Asada Throwdown where a lineup of top chefs compete in a community-driven competition. Hosted by Houston artist, The Real LOW-G, the vent will feature a live art activation, classic car showcase, Futbolito street soccer tournament, as well as local vendors, live music, and more!
