The Stanley Cup Playoffs are back, baby! While Houston might not have an NHL team… yet, we can still enjoy all the excitment around the series. In celebration of – in this writer’s opinion – the most exciting national sports series year over year, beloved fast-casual Mexican franchise, Chipotle, have reprised its annual BOGO promotion – providing BOGO meals to patrons wearing their team’s hockey jersey.
Today and today only, Monday, April 21 – starting at 3 pm local time – patrons sporting their favorite NHL hockey jersey can claim a free meal at Chipotle. While Houston doesn’t have an NHL team in the playoffs, or an NHL team in general, Houstonians can still enjoy the perks of the promotion at Chipotle. Although, we might consider a nice green Dallas Stars jersey.
Chipotle is celebrating hockey season with a special BOGO deal: show up in your favorite hockey jersey and score a free entrée with the purchase of another at participating locations across the U.S. and Canada. This offer is only valid for dine-in customers and is capped at five menu items per transaction. Keep in mind, the promotion excludes online orders, takeout, catering, and kids’ meals.
“Our Hockey Jersey BOGO offer, back for the fifth consecutive year, has become a yearly tradition to kick off the Stanley Cup Playoffs and celebrate hockey fans in the U.S. and Canada,” said Chris Brandt, Chief Brand Officer at Chipotle.
Chipotle is lacing up for its fifth straight year of celebrating the Stanley Cup Playoffs with its popular “Wear Your Hockey Jersey” BOGO deal, happening this Monday. The promotion drops just as Chipotle and the NHL announce a renewed multiyear partnership, solidifying Chipotle’s role as the league’s official Mexican-inspired quick-service and fast-casual restaurant. Additionally, Chipotle has also announced that it would partner with the National Hockey League Player’s Association (NHLPA) for the first time.
