New York-based rapper, singer, and media personality, Cardi B is in Houston. In promotion of her sophomore album, Am I the Drama? dropping Friday of this week, the multi-platinum-selling artist will be hosting a special meet-and-greet at a Houston Walmart.
The Cardi B meet-and-greet will take place this Tuesday, September 23, at the Walmart Supercenter in Cypress at 8927 Fry Rd. from 2 pm – 10 pm. Here, the mega rap star will be posing for photos with fans and offering pre-signed copies of her album. To take a photo with Cardi B, interested parties must sign up on her website and purchase a pre-signed album, which go on sale at the Walmart at 1 pm today.
As of this article, the photo availability of the meet-and-greet is sold out but the event is still open on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans should be apprised that no photography will be allowed at the event outside of the event photographer.
Cardi B first gained attention through social media and as a cast member on Love & Hip Hop: New York before skyrocketing to fame with her 2017 breakout single Bodak Yellow, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and has since gone 9-times platinum. Her debut album Invasion of Privacy dropped in 2018 when it won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. Her single I Like It with Bad Bunny and J Balvin became a diamond-certified single.
Am I the Drama? is Cardi B’s second studio album. Dropping Friday, September 26, the album features 23 tracks and collaborations with a number of big names including Janet Jackson, Selena Gomez, Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Summer Walker, and more.
Cardi B will be returning to Houston this coming March for the Little Miss Drama tour taking place at the Toyota Center on March 4, 2026.
