Tis the season for melodies that stir the soul and warm the heart! Candlelight is bringing to Houston unique concerts that radiate joy and can get us in the festive spirit. Whether it’s listening to traditional Christmas carols, the soundtracks from iconic holiday movies, or smooth holiday jazz, these cheery melodies bring forth nostalgic memories and ignite the spirit of giving.
Taking place at two incredible Houston venues, namely the spacey Lone Star Flight Museum and The Bell Tower on 34th, you’ll be wrapped in a warm and festive embrace as thousands of candles twinkle and dance to the melodies of “Deck The Halls”, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, “Christmas Time Is Here” and more!
There’s nothing like a few good carols to get you in the holiday spirit. This season, prepare to be dazzled by stunning classical performances brought to you by the talented Listeso String Quartet. From Tchaikovsky’s magical compositions of The Nutcracker to beloved holiday medleys of “Hark The Herald Angels Sing”, “Deck The Halls” and “Joy To The World”, catch these and many more as you’re surrounded by a piece of aviation history at the Lone Star Flight Museum.
This next tribute will appeal to jazz aficionados and music lovers alike. We’re used to hearing jazz artists covering popular holiday songs and this season will be no different. We huddle up by the fire, put a jazz Christmas album on and share a glass of eggnog or wine, as we hum beloved tunes that fill our hearts with joy.
Taking place at the elegant The Bell Tower on 34th, Candlelight invites you to listen to some great holiday jazz, reimagined by a group of gifted performers. Performed by Woody Witt Band, songs like “O Tannenbaum”, “Christmas Time Is Here” and “My Little Drum” are coming alive at the charming Houston venue.
The colorful decorations, the sweet scent of cinnamon and pine wafting through the air… The holiday season really is a special time of year when we exchange presents, stories and laughter. This year, you can give the gift of Candlelight to your loved ones and create new memories you’ll cherish forever.
There are two 60-65-minute performances each night, so you have plenty of time to catch a pre- or post-show dinner. Doors open at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the show.
