ABC — Alpacas. Beer. Crawfish.
Crawfish season is just around corner. As far as food’s concerned, it’s one of the Bayou City’s favorite times of the year. Sunny open sky, the smell of cajun spice hanging as heavy in the air as the humidity, roasted corn and red potatoes, sausage, and of course some ice-cold beer to wash it all down. On March 29, the Wildcatter Saloon is checking all those boxes, with one special addition: alpacas. [Featured image: @silly.alpaca]
The Wildcatter Saloon and Pavilion is living up to its name this spring. The spacious patio bar and concert venue will be hosting an outdoor event with all-you-can-eat crawfish and a herd of wild (albeit docile) alpacas at their Alpacas & Brews event.
Not edible alpacas, mind you. The llama lookalikes will be there for support, entertainment, and to provide refills if you so need.
On Sunday, March 29, you can eat crawfish until the sun goes down for only $20. For the same price, you can show off your patio-game prowess at their cornhole tournament from 2 – 6 p.m. for the opportunity to win cash prizes.
The Wildcatter Saloon regularly hosts events and concerts at the venue. On March 13, you can revel in all the big butts you can not lie at the Sir Mix-A-Lot concert.
So, are you coming? Alpaca bag!
