After long last, Big Rivers Water Park and Adventures is opening in Houston just in time for the summer with land, air, and sea entertainment.
Originally scheduled to open this past March, Big Rivers Water Park and Adventures is opening their park rides and attractions for the first time this Saturday, April 30.
The amusement park is comprised of a water park, fairgrounds, the Wild Isle course, aerial, and dry adventures. Its water park includes a wild variety of rides for kids and adults alike, with towering slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and splash pad for kiddos.
Otherwise, visitors can challenge themselves by sliding, bouncing, and crawling through its Wild Isle floating water park.
The amusement park also gives visitors the opportunity to hang ten in the sky. Their aerial attractions include multiple zip line courses, a Raccoon Run, six-story climbing course, five-story climbing wall, and seven-story bungee jump.
For fun on solid ground, Big Rivers Water Park and Adventures features a rodeo-reminiscent fair grounds that includes their Rolling Thunder rollercoaster, SPINdletop pendulum ride, Screaming Eagles passenger swing ride, and Twister spinning car ride, among others.
Furthermore, the park offers a petting zoo, giant maze, and fishing hole. Additionally, visitors can huck axes, fire off arrows, mine rocks, feed turtles, and handle gators.
Tickets are now on sale, and are priced at $40 for daily admission which includes access to all the above sans aerial adventures. Season passes are also available for $79.99, with the option for Xtreme season passes for $109.99. See their website for full details.
