Beyoncé is coming to Houston in support of last year’s critically-acclaimed album Renaissance. The superstar, who recently announced a world tour, is heading back out on the road with two stops in Houston this September.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Beyoncé released a post that simply read: “RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR 2023” with an iconic photo of her atop a silver horse– much like her latest album cover!
The 43-date tour will begin in Europe at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10th kicking off two months of darting around Europe for much of May and June before touring North America for July, August, and September, eventually arriving in Houston for two shows at the NRG Stadium on Saturday, September 23rd and Sunday, September 24th.
The world tour is Beyoncé’s first major tour since 2016 though she did perform her first concert in four years in Dubai last month which was notably void of any of her new material.
The dates given currently have the tour concluding at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on September 27th though further dates could be added as soon as at this weekend’s Grammys, where her Renaissance album is up for nine awards, including album of the year.
Fans can register for presale ticketing beginning February 2nd. General public tickets go on sale on February 6th, starting with an exclusive presale for BeyHive members.
