Things are cooking up in Houston.
Indulge your carnivorous cravings at the HouBBQ Fest in Houston this spring. The festival is a chance to meat your makers – of the best barbecue the Lone Star State has to offer, that is. [Featured image: @achapa3]
On Sunday, April 5th, HouBBQ is hosting a finger-licking festival at the Humble Civic Center Arena Complex. They’ll be honoring the very best of the pitmasters who put the pedal to the metal when serving up Houstonians their fall-off-the-bone bites. Put a fork in all your barbecue favorites: brisket, sausage, pulled pork, and ribs – all (meat-based) food groups are here and accounted for.
With a setlist of over 30 vendors, including Pinkerton’s Barbecue, JQ’s Tex Mex BBQ, and Texas Chocolate & BBQ, the festival will celebrate meat-making’s wide-ranging diversity and to showcase those roasters most committed to their craft.
Speaking of craft, is any barbecue complete without a beer? No, no it isn’t. The festival will also have a bar fully tended to compliment all the tasty meat sliding down your gullets.
