Comic crusaders pop culture poptimists, prepare yourself for the coming of Bayou City Comic Con, a brand new comic convention spanning from November 19th to 21st at the Westin Galleria. [Featured image via Shutterstock]
The inaugural event is set to host a variety of star-studded guests, that which include, but aren’t limited to: John Noble (Lord of the Rings, Fringe), Aleks Paunovic (Planet of the Apes, Snowpiercer, Van Helsing TV series), Varun Saranga (Schitt$ Creek, Wynonna Earp), Ming Chen (Comic Book Men), Maximiliano Hernandez (Avengers, Last Ship TV series), and Scott Patterson (Gilmore Girls, Saw).
Additionally, the convention will feature a number of prominent artists in the community, including Dirk Strangely, Ben Dunn, Chad Hardin, Philo Barnhart, Bob Hall, Mark A. Nelson, Roderick Thornton, Tone Rodriguez, and Brian Salinas.
While the event is rather scaled-down compared to massive Comicpalooza that took place earlier this year, Bayou City Comic Con plans to hosts a variety of panels, contests, and vendors. In addition to the in-person event, interested persons can also tune in to their live streaming throughout the weekend.
The event will take place at the Westin Galleria Hotel and Convention Center on 5060 W Alabama St. from November 19 – 21. Tickets to the event start at $20 for Friday admission only. Weekend passes are priced at $60, while VIP passes are available for $175 and include early access, first in line, first in panels, VIP bag, a t-shirt, and more.
