It’s starting off to be a pretty solid summer for cinema-lovers. To make it even better, AMC Theatres announced that it will be offering 50% off tickets twice a week throughout the summer. Effective now, AMC Theatres has officially changed “Discount Tuesdays” to “50% Off Tuesdays” – a half-off ticket price discount that will also be offered on the newly-formed “50% Off Wednesdays” for AMC Stubs members.
Further perks for those already scoring half-off ticket prices on Tuesdays and Wednesdays include half-off prices for its Small Popcorn & Drink Combos on those same days. Meaning that patrons can enjoy the complete moviegoing experience at half the price!
Is there a catch to 50% off AMC tickets?
The only requisite in taking advantage of the 50% off ticket deal for Tuesdays and Wednesdays this summer at AMC Theatres is that patrons must be AMC Stubs members. Membership, however, is free to join. According to AMC Theatres, there are already over 36 million AMC Stubs members.
Also worth noting: online ticketing fees and premium format surcharges still apply in the purchasing of the tickets; however, the base ticket prices on Tuesdays and Wednesdays reflect that half-off discount.
How to become AMC Stubs Member?
To become an AMC Stubs member, interested parties can either visit an AMC theatre’s box office in-person or register as an Insider either through the AMC website or its mobile app. In addition to 50% off tickets this summer, Insiders can also gain redeemable points with purchases, enjoy free large popcorn refills, and enjoy other exclusive offers.
