Early Tuesday afternoon, Austin City Limits announced the ACL 2023 lineup for the two-weekend festival this October. Scheduled for the weekend of October 6-8, 13-15 this year, featured performances are set to include pop superstars, country royalty, indie darlings, and more.
The Austin City Limits Festival line-up has arrived. This October festival-goers will have the opportunity to see up 9 headliners, including: Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters, Mumford & Sons, Odessza, The Lumineers, Shania Twain (weekend one only), Alanis Morissette, The 1975 (weekend two only), and Hozier.
“Your 2023 Lineup,” the festival announced in an Instagram post. “3-Day Tickets go on sale TODAY at 12pm CT. New this year! No surprises at checkout—all fees & shipping costs are included upfront,” festival officials added.
According to Austin Monitor, in 2019 the festival garnered an attendance of 75,000 people each day of the event, totaling to at least 400,000 over the course of the festival. According to the Austin City Limits Music Festival 2019 Economic Impact Report, the festival brought in $291 million to the city economy, creating at least 1,500 jobs throughout the city.
Under card highlights for ACL 2023 include Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kali Uchis, Maggie Rogers, The Mars Volta, Death Grips, Little Simz, The Breeders, Jessie Ware, Yves Tumor, M83, and more.
In addition to music, the festival is also reprising its ACL Eats Food Court with a variety of festival eats from foods trucks and other local eateries. Other staples of the festival will also be available, such as the mini-fest for kids, bountiful photo-ops, and more.
Tickets go on sale at noon on Tuesday, May 9. General admission 3-day weekend passes begin at $335. Deluxe, VIP, and whatever is higher than VIP packages are also available for added benefits.
