Here in Houston, we love our pooches. Previously called “the dog capital of the world”, the city is home to a wide array of dog-friendly patio bars, parks, dog parks, and other areas where dog lovers and their furry friends can hang. This fall, an all-new type of canine club will become available for Houstonians.
Zoomies Dog Park describes itself as a members-only dog social club. With its coming facility, Zoomies will offer exciting amenities for dogs and their owners alike.
This fall, the organization will open up a space in Houston’s Second Ward at 3123 Canal St. Here, canine members will have access to an acre of artificial turf, doggie water playground as well as on-site groomers, trainers, and veterinarians. Zoomies in Houston will also feature a boutique retailers offering gourmet dog treats, natural food, accessories, and more.
Dog owners, on the other hand, will have access to the venue’s exclusive icehouse and patio, where they’re free to grab a cocktail, beer, or other libation and watch sports, play yard games, and more. The venue also has plans to host local food trucks.
Zoomies in Houston will also feature an event space, where the organization plans to host live performances as well as bingo, trivia, and other events.
To become a member at the Zoomies dog social club in Houston, canines must have either a day pass, monthly membership, or annual membership. Membership requirements include basic vaccines and health requisites as well as a temperament test.
