The Titanic has now docked in Houston, at least in exhibition form. Titanic: An Immersive Voyage takes visitors on a chronological journey through the famous ocean liner’s short but extraordinary history, using 300+ artifacts, recreated areas of the ship, photographs, records, audio, projections and digital installations. The experience moves from the Titanic’s construction and maiden voyage through the disaster itself and its aftermath, eventually reaching the wreck site more than 2.5 miles below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean.

What is Titanic: An Immersive Voyage?
Through more than 10 galleries, you’ll learn about the Titanic’s construction and design before moving into its departure and voyage across the Atlantic. Later sections explore the collision and immediate aftermath, before looking at how the disaster has continued to shape history and popular culture.
One of the biggest draws is the collection of more than 300 authentic artifacts and archival pieces connected to the Titanic and its story. The exhibition also uses projection, animation, audio interpretation and digital technology, including a VR exploration of the wreck itself. Together, these elements create a journey that helps create a deeper understanding of what happened in the tragedy.
