👨🚀 You’ll step into the shoes of astronauts
Going to Space Explorers: THE INFINITE is the opportunity to blast off into the ether while staying right here, in Houston. The likelihood that you’ll actually step foot on the International Space Station may be slim, but with the second run of the exhibit in Houston, you get to witness breathtaking views from space thanks to incredible VR technology. Experience life alongside one of the few astronauts stationed on the ISS, seeing their daily lives and hearing them speak to you!
🎥 The VR experience includes award-winning footage from NASA missions
What makes Space Explorers: THE INFINITE truly special is its use of Emmy Award-winning footage from NASA. More specifically, it’s based on the Primetime EMMY-Award® winning series Space Explorers: The ISS Experience, the world’s biggest media project ever filmed in space created and produced by Felix & Paul Studios in collaboration with TIME Studios and NASA. The VR rendition of this footage uses the latest technology to plunge you deeper into the cosmos.
✨ With so much to discover, each journey is unique
Space Explorers: THE INFINITE‘s current run in Houston flaunts a 12,500 sq ft. layout, including the new Artemis launch room with augmented LED lighting and audio that emulates actual takeoff. There’s also 65+ VR content orbs, new photo-ops and a refurbished gift shop with exclusive NASA merch. But that’s not all: you’ll get to experience the feeling of gazing at Earth’s horizon from space and experience the weightlessness of Ryoji Ikeda’s art installation.
👪 It’s an adventure made for the entire family
The multisensory exhibit was crafted for all ages 8 and up, but children from 8 – 12 have to be accompanied by a person aged 14 or older. From mind-blowing views of the Earth to the first ever walkable 3D model of the ISS and interactive art installs, Space Explorers: THE INFINITE is totally immersive, thus ideal for your kiddos. Children admission starts at $25 and adult admission at $35.
