If you enjoy fine dining – a good deal when you see one –jot this down: Texas-founded, top-tier steakhouse Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille will be serving their Famous Pork Chops Lunch this Friday for just 79¢ a plate as a gesture of gratitude for its customers over the years. If you’re eager to get a plate yourself, here’s how.
Perry’s 79¢ Famous Pork Chops deal will be available this Friday, May 2. Offered at all Perry’s Steakhouse & Grill locations, the restaurant will grant the Pork Chop special to the first 100 guests in-line at its brick-and-mortars.
“This Friday, May 2, Perry’s is showing our appreciate to the community with a special Flashback Friday offer. The first hundred dine-in guests in line at 10:30 [am] at every Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille location will receive our Famous Pork Chop Friday Lunch for just 79 cents” said Perry’s COO, Rick Henderson, in a video uploaded to Instagram early this Tuesday.
“Why 79 cents? It’s our way of honoring the year Perry’s was founded, 1979, as a small butcher shop in Texas. This special price is a ‘thank you’ for 46 incredible years of support.”
Guests must be at least 21 years old to participate. The Famous Pork Chop is, as the name implies, a staple of the steakhouse and grill. Measuring seven fingers high, the three-rib cut is hand-selected, seasoned, and slow-roasted over pecan wood.
The Famous Pork Chop Lunch is served with whipped potatoes, homemade applesauce, and bread. The meal is regularly priced at $19.
