It’s the newest addition to Candlelight’s growing lineup of tributes. After Bridgerton, Disney Princess and Outlander, things are about to get a whole lot darker.
Candlelight: Peaky Blinders – Waitlist
Lone Star Flight Museum
If you’ve never watched it, Peaky Blinders is the BBC drama created by Steven Knight that ran for six seasons, from 2013 to 2022. It follows Tommy Shelby and his family through 1920s Birmingham, an industrial city in England, just after World War I. And the Shelbys aren’t done yet: the story continued in 2026 with the film The Immortal Man.
But plenty of fans would tell you the music is just as memorable as the plot. The show is known for pairing its period setting with modern rock, which makes it a natural fit for dark, powerful arrangements by candlelight. You’ll hear “Red Right Hand” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, the show’s opening theme, and Arctic Monkeys’ “Do I Wanna Know?”
The concert runs about an hour, surrounded by thousands of candles. There’s no dress code, but if you’ve got a newsboy cap and a three-piece suit gathering dust, this is their moment.
