Halloween season is back, Houston, and Haunted Drive is circling back for its 2026 season with a drive-thru haunted-house experience in Cleveland, Texas, about an hour northeast of Houston.
Haunted Drive opens for the 2026 season on Saturday, October 3, and is scheduled to run on select nights through Saturday, October 31.
Cruising Haunted Drive
If you enjoy haunted houses but would rather experience the scares from the comfort of your car, Haunted Drive offers a 1.5-mile drive-through journey filled with eerie scenes, live actors, frightening surprises, and horror-themed effects.
The attraction is located at 235 Chain-O-Lakes Resort in Cleveland, Texas. Haunted Drive describes the experience as a drive through 13 acres of horror, with the drive-through route itself stretching approximately 1.5 miles.
Guests can remain in their vehicles as they navigate the attraction. The venue says the drive-through is suitable for all ages, although parents should use their judgment when deciding whether the experience is appropriate for young children.
Other Attractions at Haunted Drive
In addition to the drive-through haunt, Haunted Drive offers several other Halloween activities:
- Haunted Maze: A maze covering more than 10,000 square feet.
- Haunted Hayride: A ride along the same route as the Haunted Drive, but without the protection of car doors and windows.

- Concessions and movie area: Food and drinks, a large movie screen, and a place to relax after the attractions.
- Photo opportunities and carnival games: Additional activities for visitors who want something beyond the main haunts.
