What do you think of this new lounge, old sport?

Relive the ’20s and all of its splendor at the Daisy Buchanan Lounge, from the group behind Gatsby’s Prime Steakhouse. The flashy new 52-seat lounge, located at what was once Bar Victor on 4321 Montrose Blvd, is made in the image of the era infamously captured in Scott F. Fitzgerald’s masterpiece, The Great Gatsby.
The Daisy Buchanan Lounge features black and gold finishings in a polished, dimly-lit interior that includes a piano, leather booths, an antique bar, and suspended chandeliers.
There’s been no word yet on the lounge’s drink menu, other than that it will include original cocktails, wine, and beer. Food will also be available all-night courtesy of Gatsby’s Prime Steakhouse.
“The Montrose neighborhood has welcomed us with open arms since opening Gatsby’s a few months ago,” said owner of Gatsby’s Hospitality Group, Luis Rangel.
“We’re genuinely grateful for the response and can’t wait to introduce our patrons to Daisy Buchanan’s where our prime focus will be serving some of the best craft cocktails in town in an atmosphere that pays tribute to an era that encouraged you to leave your inhibitions at the door.”
According to Houstonia, The Daisy Buchanan Lounge opens this Saturday, June 19.
