Oh, what my seven-year-old self would give to get behind the wheel of an excavator…
A groundbreaking new construction-themed adventure park is coming soon to Katy, where adults and kids alike will able to operate real, heavy construction machines. [Featured image: @digworldtx]
Dig World, a one-of-a-kind, hands-on attraction park developed by Trivium Advisors is months away from their grand opening in Katy. The park has already carved out a 3.5-acre space adjacent to Katy Mills Mall. Here, adults and children – that meet certain height requirements – will be able to try their hands at top-of-the-line construction equipment such as excavaators, UTVs, skid steers, and more, year round.
We want to create memorable experiences for families that last a lifetime as well as educate the next generation about construction and all the possibilities that surround that industry,” said co-founder Jacob Robinson.
The park plans to host over 100,000 visitors in its first year, with the possibility for visitors to book corporate outings, birthday parties, field trips, and community events. In addition to the construction machinery, the park will include a gem-mining station, playground, turf field and yard games, and other amenities.
Dig World expects to open in the coming months. Stay tuned for further details.
