Just a few days left to check off your holiday bucket list here in Houston. If you haven’t already, celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at Sugar Land’s MASSIVE Holiday Lights spectacle at the aptly named Constellation Field.
Now in its 8th year, the Holiday Lights experience features 8 (get it?) themed areas for kids from kids from 1 to 92 to enjoy. Here, walk through over 3 million lights as you marvel among mesmerizing installations that pay homage to Texas, the Astros, and, of course, all things magical.
All the good boys and girls can also get a chance to talk with the big man, himself – whereas those on the naughty list can make their case, with a one-on-one rendez-vous with Santa Claus.
If you want to get on his good side, you might bring him a s’more or funnel cake from one of the amazing food vendors on site. Or, get one for yourself, and possibly the rest of your wishlist from the venue’s holiday shopping market.
For the full experience, visitors can take a spin on its massive Ferris Wheel for some of the best views of spectacle.
Sugar Land Holiday Lights also features a variety of special events slated throughout the season, including a Centerfield Cinema screening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on December 29, Lights and Leashes on the 30, and a firework show on New Year’s Eve.
The light spectacle open nightly from 6 pm – 9 pm Sundays through Thursdays, 6 pm – 10 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays. Tickets can be purchased here.
