It’s the holidays and Houston is lit. From breathtaking light displays, to winter wonderlands, and twinkling neighborhoods: the city has come to live in radiant holiday cheer. When mapping out your next local drive, take a trip down Candy Cane Lane. Located in the Quail Valley neighborhood in Missouri City, Candy Cane Lane is one of the most festive neighborhoods in Houston to see Christmas lights!
Candy Cane Lane is the Yuletide moniker prescribed to the 3100 block Robinson Road in Fort Bend County’s Missouri City, Texas. Each December, for the past 40 years, Candy Cane Lane sees mass community participation in brightening the block with over-the-top lighting displays, animated inflatables, and Yuletide-themed displays.

Some of the crowd favorites include the famed Snowman house, Singing Santa, Santa’s Workshop, and candy cane forest. The result is an unbridled holiday destination and bucket-list experience during the holiday season in Houston.
Candy Cane Lane is officially underway for the holiday season. Typically, the lights turn on around 6 pm running to about 10 pm. The holiday experience is completely free to visit. If you’re hoping to see the lights on foot, parking is available at Glen Echo Lane or 1197 N Willow Ave. The entire experience spans about a quarter-mile of a loop, taking about 25 minutes to see in its entirety.
Of course, you can also experience Candy Cane Lane by car. Crowds are typically the heaviest between 6: 30 pm – 8:30 pm on weekends – so we recommend coming before or after then.

As some of you may know, Candy Cane Lane also comes out during the Halloween season. Adopting the moniker “Nightmare on Candy Cane Lane”, the block is one of the best in Houston to see Halloween decorations during the month of October.
