If you need a little more than eggnog to get you through the end of this year.
It’s midway through December and the holidays are in full tilt. Between drive-thru holiday light spectacles, intergalactic light spectacles, and lazy river floating light spectacles, there’s plenty of shining festive cheer to go around in Houston. For an extra shot of Christmas cheer, fly by the Jingled Up pop-up bar at 711 Main St.!
The spirit of the Xmas season is flowing in Houston. Not the least at 711 Main St where the Jingled Up pop-up bar has opened for the season as the festive destination for Houstonians to get elf’d up.
“Houston’s Number One Over The Top Holiday Pop Up Bar & Restaurant is coming to town,” the company wrote on an Instagram post. “Come safely experience Wall to Ceiling holiday decor! Huge Holiday Photo-Ops! Boozy Holiday Drinks! Covid Friendly Photo-ops with Santa, Unlimited Photobooth Pics and More!”
Jingled Up offers a full menu featuring appetizers, sandwiches & wraps, as well as cookies, treats & holiday sweets. The pop-up also offers a kids menu that includes chicken tenders and green eggs and ham. For libations, the pop-up offers a series of “Santa Baby’s Shots” with options that include the Elf’s Kiss (rumplemintz crushed peppermints), Silent Night (Jameson, watermelon), and Can’t Catch The Gingerbread Man – a merry concoction of Bailey’s butterscotch liquour, and fireball topped with whipped cream.
For those wishing to spread the holiday cheer, visitors can share larger mixes such as their candy-cane-decorated Sleigh Ride, and Entangled Cocoa marshmallow and Bailey’s Fireball concoction. Festive non-alcoholic beverages are also available for kiddos and sober sleigh riders. Options include Santa’s Milk and Cookies, made with hot cocoa, Nutella, cookie butter flavoring, and topped with whipped cream marshmallows and chocolate chip cookies for the win.
Tickets for the event cost only $15 and includes holiday drink as well as a souvenir Santa boot!
