Crawfish Cafe and Pho Prime, sister concepts of Mamba Hospitality Group, are moving in together soon as the group plans an exciting dual-concept dining destination in the Bellaire area of Houston.
Crawfish Cafe
In a city that thrives on crawfish for an all-too-brief time of year, Crawfish Cafe is a Clutch City crustacean institution. Founded 12 years ago by husband-and-wife team, Kiet and Julie Duong, the restaurant is renowned for its Viet-Cajun flavors. Its crawfish is available at five different heat levels (up to Reaper) with flavors that include:
- The Signature (kickin cajun and garlic butter)
- The Mix (lemon pepper and garlic butter)
- The Hook (coco loco and garlic butter)
- The Grail (Thai basil and garlic butter).
While crawfish is undoubtedly the star at Crawfish Cafe, the restaurant also features a highly-touted greater seafood menu. Fan favorites include its enticing crawfish egg rolls, oyster nachos, and char-grilled oysters, as well as Blackened Shrimp Tacos, Po’boys, and fried platters.
Crawfish Cafe is also equipped with a top-notch bars, offering a selection of Louisiana-inspired drinks such as the Cajun Bloody Mary along with margaritas, seltzers, domestic and imported beers among others.
In the past years, Crawfish Cafe has expanded across Houston with five locations in the Greater Houston Area.
Pho Prime
As a sister concept to Crawfish Cafe, Pho Prime is a fast-casual, Vietnamese eatery known for its build-your-own options. Served with fresh-made and flavor-forward broth, the pho is available in a range of choices — all with generous portions.

- Oxtail Pho
- Pho Supreme
- Vegan Pho
In addition to its fabulous pho, Pho Prime also serves an array of comfort foods. Favorites include The Pho Dip, a Vietnamese spin on the French dip sandwich serves with melt-in-your-mouth brisket, bone marrow buttes spread, cilantro, basil, onion, hoisin drizzle, and spicy alioli; yes, the sandwich comes with a side of beef broth for required dipping.
Other hits here include the Bun Bo, Bo Kho, and Vermicelli Bowls.
Pho Prime presently has three locations across Houston in The Woodlands, Pearland, and Galleria.
Crawfish Cafe and Pho Prime Dual Restaurant
Soon, Mamba Hospitality Group plans to bring together the best of both worlds in a single location. With an estimated construction price of $900,000, the dual-concept will occupy a 9,605-square-foot space at 11209 Bellaire Blvd Suite C36.
The group is hosting a Grand Opening of the venue on February 28. Not only will the group put on a vibrant entertainment showcase including lion dances and a high-pole performance, the restaurant will also be giving out free Crawfish Cafe t-shirts to the first 50 guests and free gift cards to the first 100 guests. The restaurant will also host a grand seafood boil giveaway.
